There Is No Such Thing as “Public Property” — Only Unguarded Territory Between Rival Mafias

“Public property” isn’t public — it’s claimed territory you’re allowed to use until the owners decide otherwise. In DAC, property is either truly private or truly common, not mafia turf with a flag on it.

“Public property” sounds noble — like it’s yours, mine, and everyone’s.
But try pitching a tent on “public” land without permission and see how long it takes before an armed agent shows up to explain that it’s not actually yours.

The truth is simple: if you can be removed from it by force, it isn’t “public.” It’s claimed. It’s controlled. It’s someone’s turf — you’re just allowed to be there as long as you follow their rules.

That’s not public property. That’s unguarded territory between rival mafias.

The State Mafia vs. the Corporate Mafia

The State mafia slaps a flag on the land, calls it “ours,” and demands rent in the form of taxes and permits. The corporate mafia gets exclusive rights to exploit it through sweetheart deals, leases, and privatization schemes.

Both will tell you they’re “managing it for the people.” Both will have you arrested if you use it in a way they didn’t approve.
The “public” part is just a PR layer on top of a turf claim.

The DAC Perspective: Real Commons, Real Ownership

Divine Anarcho-Capitalism nukes the idea of a monopoly owner. If something is truly shared, it’s managed by the people who use it — not by a centralized gang with a legal monopoly.

  • True Commons — Resources are maintained and accessed through voluntary agreements, not armed enforcement.
  • Enforceable Boundaries — Property is respected only because consent is respected. You can’t just declare ownership by planting a flag — you have to actually use and maintain it.
  • No Mafia Middlemen — No State or corporate “managers” claiming the spoils. Value flows directly between those who contribute and those who benefit.

Why This Matters

“Public property” is one of the State’s most effective lies — it lets them sell the illusion of shared ownership while keeping ultimate control.

In DAC, property is either truly private (with consent-based access) or truly common (with shared responsibility). Anything else is just mafia turf painted green.
